Alabama State University

Founded in 1867 by a group of nine freed slaves, Alabama State University is an HBCU that boasts a diverse campus population and offers a wide variety of academic and extracurricular activities. For more than 150 years, ASU has prided itself on a legacy of excellence, always working towards the upper echelons of the higher education world.

Alabama State is home to 18 intercollegiate sports teams, as well as 70 clubs and organizations, including a number of fraternities and sororities.
